Mag Blue – BIO in brief
Born November 1, 1972
Visual Artist: painting, drawing, photography, design, performance, installations and new media
Since 2001, she has focused on painting, initially working with oil and watercolors.
In 2008, she established her business in Poland, operating as an interior designer, art journalist, Editor-in-Chief of the cultural portal Art Imperium, producer of art exhibitions and competitions, juror of art contests, visual artist, and photographer.
Since 2020, Mag has been living and working in Stockholm, Sweden, continuing her practice as a visual artist, photographer, and organizer of artistic events. In 2022, she assumed the role of CEO of Royal Blue Visual Arts Gallery in Stockholm.
Mag has been a member of numerous art and photography associations in various countries. Her artworks are regularly exhibited worldwide. Her extensive body of work includes over 250 completed artistic projects and several significant awards, notably the Diploma for Merits from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2019) and Awards and Distinctions at Woman Changing The World in London (2025).
In addition to her contributions to Art Imperium, Mag’s articles on art, design, and her artistic projects have been published in dozens of magazines, including: Villa, Residences, Gentleman, Interior and Garden, Elity, Przedsiębiorcy.eu, Puls Biznesu, Pangea Magazine, DESIGNER Magazine Stockholm, Artportable.se.
Beyond numerous exhibition catalogs, Mag’s works have been featured in albums such as: the 30th anniversary of ZAP (Polish Artists’ Union) in 2020, Nordic Art Guide 2023, European Art Guide 2023, Charity Art Expo 2023, Charity Art Expo 2024, Best Contemporary Visual Artists Worldwide Vol.1 2024, and Artportable Catalogue 2025.
In 2023, under the pen name Mag Nilsson, she published the book HIQU ART & PHOTO PRINTS. Sales strategy for artists, photographers, art dealers & galleries. This publication is globally available via Amazon and served as the precursor to her series of courses and webinars for artists and photographers, focusing on career development in the art market: HIQU Art & Foto Rynek (PL).
